Exceptional
Clean, appears newly renovated, would stay again
Liked: We love the fact that we could park our car in the laneway temporarily to drop off our luggage. The receptionist was very helpful in assisting. There was an excellent storage facility, and we were then able proceed to drop off our car to airport. Location was excellent, love that we were in area that felt non tourist, Great tapas bars and restaurants nearby. Easy walk to metro, and sightseeing.
Disliked: The room was not well sound insulated, so could hear the noise in street but didnt bother me as I am a sound sleeper.
A warm welcome in the heart of Gràcia
Liked: We stayed at La Casa Del Sol for our first trip as eighteen-year-olds, and it couldn’t have been a better start. The room was beautiful and the shower was huge, a real treat after long days exploring the city. Breakfast was delicious: everything was good, but the yogurt, the granola and the mini pain-au-chocolat were our favorites. What made the difference was the staff. Juan in particular was exceptional: kind, welcoming and cheerful, he made us feel at home from the very first moment. Thank you for making our trip so special. We would love to come back! Nice and central to where we wanted to be
Liked: Staff were amazing, very helpful. As first timers to Barcelona we arrived early but were able to have our rooms prioritised. Which was appreciated. The breakfast options were awesome.
Disliked: Our room had a balcony which opened out towards a very busy square, with restaurants m, bars and a playground for kids. One thing we didn’t account for is how late the restaurants stay open and how late the kids stay out a play while families dine. But still a lovely place.
