Fabulous
Liked: The appartment is located at a very nice, clean and a safe neighborhood. It was at 3rd floor where we had a great view to Sagrada di Familia and additionally it was in a walking distance to Park de Guell. The size of the appartment including two bathrooms is also another great point for a family of four people. Good restaurants, grocery,shops are all located very close to the appartment.
Average property with good views and ideal location
Liked: My family of 3 traveled from Athens to Barcelona and our flight arrived incredibly late. What I most appreciated was how the host stayed in contact with me and made sure they were there when we got to the apartment at 3am! Major bonus points there. I loved the view of Sagrada Familia from the balcony and genuinely appreciated the availability of essentials like laundry detergent to get through our stay. The apartment's in a quiet safe area and close to local restaurants/shops, the pharmacy and the metro station.
Disliked: To be completely transparent, after spending two weeks in Europe I would categorize this property as average compared to two other stays in different countries, primarily due to the interior design. Although the online photographs suggested a more modern aesthetic, I was disappointed to find the apartment outdated upon arrival, which was frustrating considering the cost exceeded 1,000 euros. Its most redeeming features were the view of the Sagrada Familia from the balcony and the inclusion of useful essentials for our four-night visit.
Comfortable stay in Barcelona!
Liked: The apartment was really nice. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect — close to the city center, public transport and plenty of great restaurants. I especially loved the small balcony where we could enjoy morning coffee;)
Very nice host, beautiful city, wonderful people
Liked: The host was very supportive and helpful, the apartment location is great, next to many shops and restaurants, the area is very safe and the apartment is spacious and clean. The apartment has an AC and fans, and well equipped.
Disliked: very hard to find parking on the street close to the apartment,

Lousy welcome to Barcelona
Liked: Many choices of provision shops and eateries nearby. Easy access to the bus and metro.
Disliked: 1. At least twice, if not more, I dutifully updated our arrival time and flight number through Booking.com app when requested by the host, and again upon getting into the taxi at the airport, but to our annoyance no one met us to check us in. Our calls to the number provided in the listing were met with a voicemail. It was only after getting help from Booking.com that we got into the apartment 1.5 hours later. The person who checked us in was curt and in a hurry. And to top it all someone named Sergio called to say "who reads emails after 17:00" and that the check in agent did not show up on time because I did not reply to their WhatsApp message! No one informed us about using WhatsApp after 17:00 for communication. Moreover, we were still on the airplane when he sent the message and upon arrival at the airport we had to deal with a pickpocket incident. 2. One has to be patient using the electrical appliances especially the coffee machine. If you are in a hurry they don't work. 3. The flush in one of the toilets did not work. We fixed it ourselves. 4. The lift did not work for 2 of the 4 days of our stay. However the Housalia team did try to get the apartment complex management to get it fixed.
