A hidden gem just off mid-Las Ramblas near a Metro
Liked: The location is near to, but not right on La Ramblas. Also, the Metro station is minutes away. All of the staff were wonderful and very accommodating. The restaurant breakfast was great food and replenished regularly. The Roance package was very nice I glad I paid the extra little bit.
Disliked: Like many European hotels that make use of existing architecture, the elevator tends to be a little small and slow:-) but it gets the job done. There is a large, grand, staircase if you desire. The room was nice, BUT I must make a note... room 204 shower! The shower pan has no relief in it, so it can be very slippery! On the same topic. There is no normal shower head as usual. There is a handheld wand, there are two body sprays and there is therainshower from directly overhead. Sounds great, unfortunately A LOT OF WATER splashes out onto the outside floor. Again, be careful. We used several of our liited towels to soak up water and reduce possible slipping. The rest of the bathroom was very nice.
