Liked: We arrived two days late because of the UK air traffic issues but when we arrived the staff were very helpful in arranging tours and restaurant bookings.

Liked: Our stay at the Mercer Hotel in Barcelona was wonderful. The hotel itself is a destination in its own right: it is tucked into the Gothic Quarter, and parts of the building date back to the first century, incorporating remnants of the old Roman wall of Barcino. But what made our stay truly memorable was the staff, and in particular a team member named Gabriel. His warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care made our visit special. He really went above and beyond. Between the hotel's rich character and Gabriel's outstanding service, we left already looking forward to our next stay at the Mercer!
Immersing yourself in Barcelona- history and present
Liked: In going to such a magical city with so much art, architecture and history, I researched to find the best experience. I desired a place where my wife and I could experience first hand the history and glory of Barcelona. The Mercer excelled across every category. I wanted to be in the heart of the history of the city (the Gothic Sector) and be able to taste it. Most everything is so close or easily accessible. The staff is so knowledgeable, so incredibly helpful and friendly. They greeted our every encounter with energy that was focused on our successful stay in every detail. The room was tremendous! I will be back. I highly recommend the Mercer!
