  Hotel put us in the wrong room, but didn't compensate us on the price paid

  Liked: The lobby was very pretty, the location on Las Rambla was very good.

  Disliked: I booked and paid for a deluxe queen room with a balcony overlooking Las Ramblas street. They put us in a very small plain room with just a window looking out at a wall! I complained to the front desk and he offered us a free breakfast the next morning. The room we stayed in was not worth the price I paid.

  Liked: The beautiful lobby and the location. I am not fond of Rambla, but the Gothic district is awesome, and I have to admit that it is nice to sleep in the very centre of such a city as Barcelona. Besides, Barceloneta is pretty close.

  Disliked: I needed a bigger (a real) writing desk for work.

  Good location

  Liked: Located in a great area near restaurants and stores. The lobby is welcoming and the room was comfortable. Bed was great and pillows were large and heavy but decently comfortable. Bath products were good too.

  Disliked: There was no coffee or tea in the room. The tiles around the bathtub had dirty grout lines and some tiles were damaged. Shower and water flow was good though.
