Fabulous
Disappointing stay due to poor maintenance, hygiene issues, and misleading listing
Liked: The location in Barcelona was convenient, the apartment itself fell well below acceptable standards for cleanliness, comfort, and maintenance.
Disliked: The listing photos appear to be quite outdated and do not reflect the current condition of the property. On arrival, the apartment felt significantly more worn and poorly maintained than expected. Several items were in a near-broken state, giving an overall impression of neglect rather than active upkeep. The kitchen equipment was also inconsistent and not well thought out. The glasses and cutlery looked like a mix from different sets, which made the kitchen feel improvised rather than properly equipped. For a group of four, there were not enough large mugs available, which was inconvenient for basic daily use like coffee or tea. The living area was another disappointment. The sofa is only really suitable for two people and is not comfortable for extended sitting or relaxing in the evening. This is misleading if the apartment is advertised for more guests, as it does not realistically support group comfort. Access to the apartment is via a smart lock system, which in itself is fine, but there is no option to manually lock the door from the inside. This felt unsafe and inconvenient, especially at night, as it removes a basic level of control over privacy and security while inside the property. The building entrance had a strong unpleasant smell of urine, which immediately created a negative first impression before even entering the apartment. The most serious issue was in the bathroom, where there was visible black mold. This is not just a cosmetic problem but a clear hygiene concern that should be addressed urgently.
Liked: Everything was good except the workmen on the balcony. But actually there is no balcony as there is a building obstructing any view from the properly. I think it would be good to show pictures that help a guest understand that they are paying for an internal space with no view. Everything was good inside and very comfortable and the location is great. If you are not going to spend time relaxing at home much - this is a good home base to move from. Also good resturants and shops very close by.

Amazing host
Liked: The hostess was a very nice woman. She was really thoughtful and helped us where needed. She also made an early check-in and late check-out possible for us. The apartment is nice and cute. Not very big, but perfect for a couple of days.

Liked: The location is incredible. You are at a walking distance to La Sagrada Familia and Saint Pau, two great touristic places to visit, and visiting elsewhere is easy as there is a metro station in less than 200m from the apartment. The two bedrooms are comfortable, very good beds, the bathroom is good, seems it was renovated not long ago. Kitchen has a lot of utensils, more than I expected, I could cook everything from breakfest to lunch and dinner. I really enjoyed the experience and would happily recommend to family and friends.

Liked: ~10min from Sagrada, property has dishwasher, microwave, washing machine. Beds were very comfy. There were several smaller cornershops nearby which was fantastic since we arrived in the evening and got to buy food to the apartment. Apartment is perfect for 4 people. Living room/kitchen area is small but it doesn’t matter when you are in Barcelona for tourism and are outside most of the time.
