  Comfortable for a couple of days, but for us, no longer

  Liked: Breakfast was OK. Some prepared fruit salad would have been nice.

  Disliked: Breakfast area was a little cramped, and the lifts were way too small. I guess there is no way to improve them.

  It was ok, a good base for the city

  Liked: Quite expensive. Food was ok, not inspiring. Nowhere to sit for breakfast on the first morning. Some food ran out. Useful kitchenette in the room. Very noisy at night till the early hours of morning. Good location for exploring. Staff very helpful. Recommended an expensive taxi to the airport - 35 E when an Uber was 23. I couldn't get the aircon to respond.

  Comfortable and convenient with a fun vibe and friendly staff

  Liked: I liked the size of my room, the balcony, the buffet breakfast, excellent coffee, and super-friendly staff.

  Disliked: The bed was quite firm and the layout of the sink/closet area was awkward. For ladies, the mirror did not have good lighting and there was no close-up mirror available. But everything was clean and well-managed.

  Better than we thought it would be

  Liked: Great location once we found it the first time. Great for the metro. Just about everywhere we wanted to go was on the L3 line so we could go direct. Just off Las Rambla which means you’re sheltered from the noise etc especially as there is so much construction going on at present. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a good buffet spread but space to eat was limited so it got very busy after 9:30 am. Room was good and we had the terrace which was lovely to sit out in your own little piece of space with a cuppa or a cold drink.

  Disliked: The rooms was very comfortable but compact there weren’t many places to put things, luggage etc. also a bit hit and miss in replenishing supplies such as toilet roll and tea coffee milk portions etc.
