I enjoyed my stay but would have like more privacy in terms of the bathroom facilities

Liked: Great location, if you're thinking of going to the Sagrada Família, you would be hard pressed to find a more convenient and affordable place, it is an easy walk from here, as are many other sites. Nice, clean, comfortable rooms, and breakfast served each morning. The staff was very helpful...I would stay here again.
Disliked: I was only here one night, I had very little to judge it on, but for my needs on this stay, there was nothing I have any negative notes on.
Good location, good beds, nice price
Liked: It was clean and good beds. Buses, trains and metro was very close.
Disliked: It hasn’t drinking water and the water in the shower was with chlore. There was no brush for the toilet. The sheets had interesting smell, I didn’t like it.
SM Hotel Teatro Auditori created a perfect home base for our first time in Barcelona!
Liked: The staff at SM Hotel Teatro Auditori are the best we encountered on a 3-week tour of Portugal and Spain. During our trip, we stayed at five other hotels, all of them 4-star. Only Teatro's staff rates a 4-star from me. They were both friendlier and kinder. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by Carlota who made us feel right at home. Raul went out of his way to make sure we got the right pricing on the Hop On Hop Off bus. And on the last day, Sergio offered to get us something from the kitchen since we left too early to get the buffet. The room was immaculate, linens comfortable, good lighting. Bathroom was well-appointed and roomy. The location is perfect. We walked almost everywhere including to the Picasso Museum and terrific restaurants for tapas, brunch and Chinese food.
Disliked: The buffet was just okay. I prefer fresh offerings, so didn't really enjoy the packaged baked goods or canned fruit. Having said that, it was plentiful, and kept neat and clean by the hardworking staff members. Everyone greeted me and seems to enjoy working there. The layout of the room was a little odd. You come into a very small hallway where the closet, coffee maker and safe are. You have to turn a sharp left to get to the beds. The desk for the room is next to the closet. The fridge is next to the bed. NOT a big deal at all. If you have a lot of LARGE suitcases, it might be a problem. It was not for us.
