Fabulous
A welcoming host, and a peaceful and comfortable apartment
Liked: The landlady, Valentina, met us at the property (we had informed her what time we were due to arrive). She was very friendly and welcoming. She spoke no English, and we spoke no Spanish/Catalan, but Google audio translate enabled her to tell us about the apartment, and to give us tips for our visit to the city centre. The apartment is very comfortable - a bedroom with double bed and single bed, a bathroom with shower cubicle, and a living area with large sofa, small dining table with chairs, and a kitchen area with 2 ring hob, microwave, fridge, sink, and crocker/cutlery/cooking utensils. There was even a shady terrace. The apartment was cooler than expected in the evening, so we were glad of the heater/air conditioner unit, and radiators. It was nice and quiet at night, so we slept well. Travelling to the city centre was very easy - there is a 10 minute walk to two Metro stations (but yes, 5 minutes of the walk is up a fairly steep road), with trains running every 5 minutes. There is a Lidl supermarket right by Vall d'Hebron Metro station, which was very useful.
Feels like an oasis in Barcelona
Liked: Fantastic stay. We loved the garden. The host is very kind and helpful, we especially appreciated the tips on how to reach the house without having to climb the hill.
Disliked: The layout of the apartment is tricky, you need to get used to sharing the bathroom between the two bedrooms. The only actual problem is that there's no shop nearby, you need to walk for about 25 minutes, but that's just something you need to take into account.
Very comfortable stay, love the exterior deck. Very nice location and neighborhood
Liked: Wonderful balcony. We spent most of our time there. Two rooms with two bathrooms. Not a far walk from the subway. It was nice to have a nice outdoor space with balcony while visiting Barcelona. They had off-street parking which was wonderful.
Disliked: Kitchen is a bit small. No table for eating on deck.
Lovely apartment with a lovely terrace!
Liked: Valentina was just fabulous and couldn’t do enough to help us at all times.
Disliked: WiFi at times but, Valentina actually called the internet company to fix.

Liked: Excellent host, very good conditions for staying, convenient location, nice and tidy place
Enjoyable
Liked: Comfortable and clean, with all the essentials. 2 very nice bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, small kitchen and a nice living and dining room.
Disliked: The location was not so ideal. 10 minutes from the metro station but on a hill, so with the heat it was difficult to reach it.
