Exceptional
Liked: Location - easy access to city center by metro (10 minutes), bus (15 minutes), walk (40 minute). Direct train or metro from airport to Sants station which is a 5 minute walk to hotel. A wide choice of cafes and restaurants around the hotel and a supermarket if need be.
Disliked: There were no negatives.
Our stay at Via Sants was fantastic
Liked: The entire experience was awesome. The facility itself was clean and cheerful. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The included breakfast buffet was extensive. The most impressive aspect of our stay was the staff. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was pleasant and helpful. A special shout out goes for Jessica. As first time visitors to Barcelona we were clueless and we had many questions. She was very patient, completely knowledgeable and treated us like a trusted friend. Her restaurant suggestions were spot on. I wish someone like Jessica greeted us at every hotel we visited. Visiting Barcelona was a fantastic experience and the Via Sants hotel stay contributed to that experience.

Liked: Good location to the Metro and easy walk to restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff.
Convenient, high quality stay
Liked: Perfect location as a stop over between train travels, picked specifically as it’s a hotel brand I can trust and feel safe as a solo traveller but also because it had a rooftop area to unwind.
Disliked: Noting really.
Tight Fit With King Bed
Liked: In general, the accommodations were okay. I deliberately reserved a room with a king bed to ensure adequate leg room. However, it was a tight fit with little remaining space in the room. For example, only a small single chair was available, so only one of us - my wife or me - had a place to sit if we chose not to use the bed. This is a problem when you have been out visiting various sites and sitting here and there. Space was simply inadequate!
