  Lovely holiday

  Liked: Location was brilliant

  Hotel Rosamar - one of the perfect family locations

  Liked: We absolutely loved our stay here, this was a last minute booking as a third party booking site cancelled us last minute. Hotel Rosamar is the perfect location, close to the beach, the zoo, any excursion you need or want and is brilliant for kids and adults The hotel put on plenty of entertainment and my little boy loved most things. They had daytime kids club as well as a kids disco, adult entertainment around the pool and a giant kids water park. The drinks were okay and the food was lovely (not amazing by any means but nice and varied) Staff were nothing less than happy and helpful and they make sure they talk/get to know the children and had been very polite during our stay. The lifeguard alone was so friendly and kept an eye on everyone at the pool. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

  Disliked: There’s a few things which if done differently would have ensured top scores from me Firstly being the beds - we had a double room which consisted of two side to side king beds, although there was enough room for all of us the beds themselves were so uncomfortable with all of us sleeping poorly throughout the stay. Secondly the shower kept leaking and I reported to reception and it didn’t get sorted during our stay and whilst it wasn’t a massive problem it’s still annoying to have to use a towel to block a huge water leak, you can tell it had been going on for some time as there was water damage to the door Thirdly was the lift situation, very slow, sometimes not working and again not something I would usually say was bad but you have so many people pressing every single button it can get quite tedious standing there for long periods of time, especially considering it’s a 4* hotel The kids splash park is for ages between 3-12 which I completely understand adults cannot go in however we wanted to join our child on the slides and couldn’t meaning he was often playing alone or we spent our time in the main pool which was just as good and very cold And lastly was timings and I’m not sure whether this is just a bug bear but the kids disco started at 9pm which I thought was very late, we were all too knakered by 9pm

  Liked: My daughter is celiac and the best hotel we have stayed at they we’re familiar with everything we could pre book pizza pasta rolls and made sure she also had a cake. They had a radio ear piece to allert the kitchen on arrival. Special mention to pedro Laura Monica and the younger man similar role to pedro. We had lovely family meals knowing that her alllergy was not a concern. The hotel is clean central and runs great. We had a fun happy time here and would love to come back. It also felt very safe and suited to all ages from 8-80 but hats of to the kitchen and front staff a happy parent and child no anxious meals in this resort - also all foods are labelled
