  Highly recommend!

  Liked: One of the best hotel experiences of my life. Falling asleep while looking at the stars and seeing the sunrise was amazing. I ended up not sleeping much because of how amazed I was. The bathtub was also great!

  Disliked: It is quite light during the night and day. Highly recommend taking a blackout sleep mask.

  A wonderful idea that with a little effort could be absolutely amazing

  Liked: The domes are absolutely brilliant and make you feel like you are floating in the stars. The bed was very comfortable. The view was fantastic and the outside bath was a lovely experience and no problem as it was extremely private. The air con works well even in the extreme heat of August. Even with the comments below, we would definately stay again if possible.

  Disliked: It is such a wonderful idea and it is a shame it is let down by things that could easily be put right. This is something that is fabulous but could be AMAZING. The domes are a little dusty so the idea of seeing out is spoilt slightly. Only 2 hand towels and no bath towels is ridiculous. The bathrobes are a nice touch but a bit tatty, For the price of the experience the breakfast was a bit mean and a small bottle of wine and a couple of chocolates would have been a nice touch.Toiiletries were very sparse too. The instructions for entry were a bit vague and the directions to get there, overly complicated. Why not just say the key can be collected at a certain time and self check in would be very easy. Perhaps a link on booking that gives all the details of how to do everything.

  Beautiful view and a good stay

  Liked: The view when the sun sets and rises was incredible. The jacuzzi is a MUST, just bare in mind it takes around an hour and a half to fill. It was amazing to be surrounded by nature.

  Disliked: The pathway to get there is very bad, although they did advise us of this, for the amount you pay you expect everything to be perfect, and this road is really very dangerous. The communication was very confusing, on booking it says you can check in until 20:00pm, then the day of i recieved a message from the hosts saying check in was until 18:00pm. This meant we were very stressed and rushed. I feel like for the amount you pay (nearly 400€ for a night) they could chuck in a bottle of wine or some chocolates, it would just make the experience feel more worth it. Everything was clean, the only thing was on the inside of the dressing gowns were clumps of womens hair.

  A unique property in a stunning but hard to get to location

  Liked: It’s unique! Amazing location with stunning views both day and night. The only food is pre packed cheese and ham so bring your own food if you want more and the track is very steep if you are cycling like I did…

  Great experience

  Liked: An exceptional experience. We saw different types of weather. Clear skies, thunderstorms and stars and moon during the night. We can highly recommend this experience at Glamping Balu in Monesterio!
