  Good value hostel accommodation in a remote rural area

  Liked: Excellent location for us on our bicycle tour from Santander to Madrid. This is a very beautiful part of Spain. Hotel was quiet, it is low season I think in mid September. Rooms good and showering facilities good. The manager came to give us some additional cooking facilities. Breakfast in the morning was good. Check if you'll need to bring food depending on what time of the year you're coming. If you have a car there may be restaurants open in nearby villages.

  Disliked: We knew that there was no restaurant service in the evening and we were advised to bring food. Unfortunately the cooking facilities were poor (nothing to put the food in to heat it up). The manager did come very promptly with an electric kettle and some bowls and cutlery and this improved things for us

  Liked: Habitación ruidosa, sin aire acondicionado, colchones viejos que te clavas los muelles, baño con olor a tubería, no muy limpio. Un gallo cantando a las 4 de la madrugada.

  Liked: Impresentables. LLegamos y la encontramos cerrada. Habían anulado nuestra reserva mediante un correo enviado una hora antes, que leímos cuando ya estábamos allí.
