    Fantastic hotel in the mountains

Liked: This is a wonderful hotel located in the beautiful mountains behind Madrid. It's about a 7-8 min walk to the lovely village of Valleverde de los Arrayos. The staff are super helpful and kind and the food is great, including the breakfast. There is lots of hiking/biking to be done in the area and this is a great base for some R&R.

Disliked: The only slight negative is there is no air-con (but there are fans in the rooms). I would guess normally it's not an issue but we were in the middle of a heatwave in Europe so it was pretty stifling.
