Very good
Liked: Location. Choice of breakfast. Peaceful site. Easy parking.
Disliked: A few minor negatives such as no glass in the room, old bread buns at breakfast, breakfast juice was not real juice.
Liked: Fantastic location and very friendly staff, decent breakfast.
Disliked: €25 to park a motorbike in the garage seems expensive.
Not luxurious, not pretending to be. A comfortable, characterful old ski hotel with good food
Liked: A proper old-school ski hotel with plenty of character. Considering that the hotel dates back to 1934, it has aged remarkably well. The room was clean, spacious enough and pleasantly free of wear. Nothing luxurious, but everything felt honest, comfortable and well maintained. For a motorcyclist travelling through the Pyrenees, the location is excellent. The food deserves a special mention. Neither breakfast nor dinner was trying to be a gastronomic experience, but it was obvious that somebody had actually made an effort. Both were satisfying, well prepared and tasted like real food – which sounds like a low bar until you spend enough nights in hotels.
Disliked: It’s an old ski hotel, and it feels like one. Don’t expect modern luxury, fashionable interiors or boutique-hotel perfection. Personally, I didn’t find that a problem – it is part of the character of the place.
Overall very good
Liked: Stunning location, extremely friendly staff who spoke very good English. Great choice at breakfast
Disliked: This was the 2nd time we stayed half board. Last time was a very good 3 course evening meal whereas this time the evening meal was a buffet which was rather disappointing... the food wasn't hot and the quality not as good as last time

Disliked: We were in a corner room and could see straight through into each other's rooms if one was on a balcony which meant we had to keep the door shut and the curtain drawn.
