  It doesn't work. Yes it does

  Liked: The apartment was very clean and well positioned within the town. The kitchen area was well equipped. To be in the same town as the wonderful Churreria Rocco Tovar is a big bonus. A super friendly hub full of locals and amazing breakfasts.

  Disliked: Firstly, parking was very difficult and we made circuits before leaving our car 10 minutes walk away. That was one of those things in a small Spanish town so not a major issue. What WAS an issue was that the entry door code didn't work. We tried several times before messaging the owner. She phoned and our conversation went like this (in Spanish - she didn't speak a word of English) The entry system doesn't work. Yes it does. No it doesn't. Yes it does. You get the idea. I ended up grabbing a passing very kind young man to confirm to her that it was broken. It was going dark by this point and we were tired. Fairly promptly the very kind cleaner and her husband arrived and let us in so it was resolved but the only message I received from the owner was that the door entry should work now. No apology for the delay or not believing me. The apartment was OK - in a good central position. It could have been much better with just a little money spent on it. A new shower head for starters and one that fitted the holder. The sofa was made up as a bed and had no back cushions which rendered it unusable. Matching duvets for the two beds would have helped with the overall appearance of the apartment. Plastic under sheets are horrible and should not be used except on children's beds. Sorry for the essay but the lack of customer service in quite a stressful situation did annoy me and I'm at the airport killing time so you get all this detail.
