Cute comfortable room on the beautiful river

Liked: The room was modern and very clean and although it was quite small, it was designed to maximize space. We loved the sound of the river below as we slept. The small refrigerator came in handy.

Disliked: We had a bit of confusion checking in mostly due to the language barrier. We speak minimal Spanish and the staff at the bar spoke no English. But after we got our key, everything was great!

Liked: Entirely renovated hotel, very modern. Good location to visit the Sierra Nevada. Fairly quiet street. Free parking 5 minutes away.

Disliked: The mattress was too soft. The building has very poor noise insulation so you can hear people closing doors, coming and going and talking, even with your door closed. No tea or coffee (or even a Keller) provided. Very few restaurants were open nearby.

Would I stay there again - most certainly YES!

Liked: What's not to like!! After staying in a supposed 4 star hotel recently - this place outshone my expectations. Clean, well decorated, a fridge for your own supplies in room (assuming every room). Nice bathroom, airy and with ac, hanging space, and tv. For us Brits, yes the kettle is missing, but plenty of cafes around, and they are extending, so will have a cafe on site. Perfectly placed for everything as there is a bus into Granada for 1.60 euro. The owner is also at Meson Guillermo, where you check in. The food is delicious, tapa with every drink and great service. They are helpful, friendly and highly efficient. Would I stay there again, most definitely.

Disliked: Being picky - a lift would be good, but the stairs are doable, even with a bad back. So, in reality, nothing I didn't like.

    Highly recommend

Liked: Cozy modern room overlooking a beautiful flowing river with ducks!... The hotel proprietor, Guillermo ("Willie"), and the staff at the next door restaurant were all friendly and very helpful with my questions and requests.... Lovely dinner experience at the restaurant.... Local cafe for breakfast was very pleasant.... Excellent value for your wallet.... Highly recommend!

Disliked: I suppose I would have liked a coffee maker in the room.
