Disliked: Early morning traffic noise. Moved to a quieter room the 2nd night. Furniture very sparse. Nothing to put a suitcase or travelling bags on.
Small hotel in a small town for a quick stop

Dissapoing service from what I was expecting to be a good night stay

Disliked: I booked an economy / budget room. The room was advertised as 15m2. The room was actually 11.5m2 there was no room to decant my bag other than on the bed. The walls were marked and not clean because it was impossible to turn around in the room without your bag rubbing on the wall. When I arrived, the outside temperature was 30 degrees. Inside my room on arrival was 34 degrees! The room had air conditioning which I immediately turned on and set to 19 degrees with the aim of cooling the room quickly. After an hour the room temperature at the bed was 29 degrees. I went down to reception and advised of my predicament. A young lady accompanied me to the room as I understand she did not believe me. The young lady advised that it was cool near the air conditioning unit, but I advised that I am not sleeping near the unit and the unit is not cooling the room near the bed (albeit the room was small). While the fan of the air conditioning unit was moving air, it was obvious the AC unit was not cooling the air as a fully functional AC unit should. I requested another room with and air conditioning unit that cooled a bedroom to an acceptable level or if they could provide a fan. I was a divided by the young lady that she didn’t think the room was too hot and the air conditioning was acceptable. She said they did not have fans and that it was not possible to to transfer me to another room as this was an budget / economy room and it was the best I could expect, I think the actual words were …. ‘all budget rooms are the same’. For a hotel that claims 3 star rating, I felt disappointed with the dismissive and condescending customer service and that the room was mis sold as a 15m2 room. Had I known the room was less than 12m2 in size and that their customer service was less than accommodating in terms of provisions of fans etc I would not have booked. My advise would be to not book during hot weather and certainly be aware of the misleading room size advertised.
