Fabulous
It was a pleasant and very convenient stay
Liked: The location is the best point about this place, it’s is literally 5 min walking distance from Mosque-Cathedral Qurtuba, the design of the building is very authentic, lovely architecture, easily accessible, and very convenient place
Disliked: could have better locks on the doors for better security.
Interesting little place
Liked: Everything about the place was interesting. The location spot on. Very clean. Friendly and helpful cleaning ladies. Most of our communication was via WhatsApp which was ok. Easy walking to centre and bus stop just a very short stroll away.
Disliked: Uncomfortable bed and lounge seating (damaged trundle bed in lounge). No kettle in kitchenette (but we managed), and there was no one at reception whilst we were in apartment to ask. Wifi was bad and kept dropping out. We think the whole place needs more maintenance i.e painting, fixing of furniture, replacing dead plants. If this was done regularly this place would be amazing. There are many good things about this place but with more thought and work it could be sensational.
Liked: The location gave exceptional views of the city and Alhambra. Our room was one of three, each on it's own lvel built cascading down a mountain side.The room was beautifully furnished with exquisite and regional decor and a deep bath in which to relax. Antonio, our host went above and beyond to assist us, after our late night arrival, with our luggage up the elegant, winding stone road (no car access), to the residence. We are both in our eighties and really did need the helping hand. Solar Montes Claros is a very special place which earns repeated annual visits from loyal and appreciative clients with whom we spoke while we were there. Bad experience in cordoba
Liked: It was clean and good lighting
Disliked: Old furniture, i was scared that anytime wooden sofa bed could be brocken. Stuff were not responsible, there was no wifi for whole time of my stay, 3 days. After informing multiple times, he promised to fix wifi multiple times, but did not fix it at the time of my stay. I have booked for 3 nights including breakfast, 1st day there was no breakfast, 2nd day he sent us to another restaurant, 800 meters away for a very limited menu only a toast and coffee. 1st day he intentionally did not provide us breakfast, i think. He did not give me any compensation as well though breakfast was part of my booking. Location is not far from the city’s main attractions, but not in great position. No view available. it is a bit back side of cathedral and alcazer. Kitchen facilities are very basic, no toaster, backoven, dishwasher.

Liked: The room was so clean and decorated so uniquely. We had a lovely breakfast that was included in the stay. The beds were so comfortable and clean. Would recommend to other travelers.
Disliked: Lots of the plants in the courtyard were dead and didn’t look like the pictures but it did not affect our stay.
Liked: Central location. Good staff communication for check in. Nice rooms.
