Attractive apartment with lovely terrace in a great location, but host is remote and curt
Liked: The location is excellent, very close to everything in the old town. The apartment has a lovely private terrace. There's a lift, which is great for luggage, as the apartment is on the 2nd floor.
Disliked: It was a strictly remote arrangement with the host - via WhatsApp only - and minimal information is given. The host gave us the wrong address for the apartment, which is annoying when you arrive hot and tired. We were originally told someone would meet us with the keys, then we were told to pick up the keys from a location about 5-7 minutes from the apartment - again, annoying when arriving after a long journey. Only one set of keys was provided for 3 of us, which was really inconvenient. They also didn't explain things, such as the lock release button near the front door, which would have helped us enormously. The host does reply promptly to messages within business hours, and helped us quickly when we locked ourselves out (see one set of keys for 3 people, above!). However, there is a lack of friendliness and warmth.
