Great mini break in a fabulous city
Liked: Beautiful hotel, great restaurant
Disliked: It was quite difficult to get a drink from about 10pm
Exceptional hotel
Liked: The location, facilities are all excellent. The room and bathroom were extemely comfortable. Service was exceptiona. Their dining room is built on top of roman ruins which you can see through the floor. Just a great hotel.
Disliked: Breakfast was excellent but service could have been slightly faster.
Boutique hotel that nails the brief
Liked: Boutique hotel that combines a historic building tastefully modernised to create a very pleasing aesthetic. Luxurious with being excessively formal. Good in house restaurant and comfortable and stylish pool area.
Disliked: Rooms not over generous for the rates,in particular we had a single wardrobe which also accommodated the safe and shelves leaving insufficient hanging for a 3/4 dress.
