Fabulous
A truly wonderful stay, some issues notwithstanding
Liked: Loved the ambience and the setting. The room was very comfortable and relaxing with a stunning view. Staff were kindly and chilled
Disliked: Although the swimming pool was full it was locked against guests. It's 27 degrees in Cordoba so that seemed somewhat churlish - it looked very beautiful and tempting. The sundown service on the terrace was appalling - only one member of staff on both evenings, unable to keep up, so did not risk dinner. Lunch was much better with excellent, friendly and professional waiters. However, but entering into the bar and restaurant was an alienating experience with nobody apparently there to greet or seat (or serve!) guests. The last problem was the intolerable noise from highly inconsiderate guests, not helped by very flimsy floorboards, who literally kept us all awake all night - despite the hotel intervening.

Disliked: Very disappointing dining room,no flowers,no candles,no well laid tables,only a napkin and glass on table.,no cutlery.service was slow,sadly my wine arrived just as I was finishing my main meal,although I had twice requested it.
