Exceptional
Liked: Spacious, clean and very comfortable. Friendly staff.
Disliked: It was a little far out of the old town.
Nice place and hopefully more to come
Liked: Nice apartment, well managed by Mayte. Good location, clean and fresh. There is a nice roof deck on the 2nd floor, the lift will take you up and down, and there is a small pool for cooling down. There is also a washing machine and dryer for guests to use.
Disliked: We think the owners haven't finished furnishing. There are no pictures on the walls and no lamps so the lighting is stark. Maybe this will come soon.
Very enjoyable with a few hiccups. Yet, definitely worth the money
Liked: A perfect location. A 5 min walk to the Roman temple with the restaurant and Tapas places. 12min to the Mezquita. Also close to the Casa Cubana bar with the best Moquito in the town. The little sitting pool is a gem in 44oC heat a pity it closes after 21:00. I really enjoyed the quiet nights on the terrace when the relentless heat of the day vanishes.
Disliked: The kitchen has no oven only a microwave. In general, the kitchen equipment is minimal. The furniture on the terrace has seen better days. New varnish and an Alan key would do wonders. Finally, the parking do not bother to pay for parking, The parking place is very small. It should fit (in theory) 10 cars but all would have to be parked inside the marked bays and in the correct sequence. Many other appartments use the space. So it is a game of luck. We paid for 2 nights and were not able to park in one of the remaining spaces. Not enough space to maneuver. We parked on the broad avenue nearby where you always find a place after 23:00.
A super location in the heart of Cordoba, perfect as a comfortable base to explore the city
Liked: A fabulous location comfortably away from the main tourist area. Casa San Mateo was simple and very comfortable. We loved having our own private terrace and in the heat of the late afternoon, the rooftop pool gave some welcome relief. Mayte provided excellent directions to the apartments parking, safe and secure, about 7 minutes walk. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the hospitality of the people of the Santa Marina district, the authenticity of the little back street tabernas felt genuine.
Disliked: Nothing
All things are perfect except AC and distance from city center
Disliked: The air conditioner stops working on its own for a while, and then it resumes its operation. During this time, we are always awakened from our sleep due to the heat.
