Exceptional
Liked: Fantastic in all aspects!!
Liked: Great breakfast! Eggs to order, fresh fruits, local cheeses and cured meats. Doesn't start until 8:30am.
Perfection in Cornudella de Montsant
Liked: This beautiful restored guesthouse was delightful. Everything was comfortable, our hostess welcoming and responsive, and the restaurant also great! It was a short drive to nearby sights including Siurana and the lake for kayaking, and national park for hiking. We would live to return in cooler weather and spend more time.
Disliked: There was a slight chemically smell in our room we never identified, maybe a strong cleaner or fresh paint?
A small jem in the Priorat region
Liked: We appreciated the hotel's original character. The owner and the staff were very friendly and took their time to communicate with us and share tips about regional amenities and places to visit. We enjoyed the wine-tasting dinner, pairing a creative, flavourful menu with local wines from the Priorat and Montsant regions.
Disliked: Just a small detail: coffee (cappuccino) quality could be improved, but the rest of the breakfast was very tasty.
Very nice experience in a lovely part of Catalonia
Liked: excellent breakfast and a great place to explore the region from - by car or on foot. Very nice rooms in a beautifucl old house, and good food.
Disliked: Cornudella isn't the liveliest of villages but there are several good restaurants there and nearby.
The best room with balcony with mountain view and afternoon shadei
Liked: We loved our suite on the top floor beautifully furnished. Balcony well equipped with sun lounger settee and chair. Bath and shower. Very helpful host.
Disliked: Parking was a bit difficult. We had to park in tight space in narrow street. Food was delicious but very filling.
