Fabulous
It will be our first choice for a visit to Santa Maria
Liked: Bodega Real is an old bodega, carefully repurposed into a spacious, elegant and comfortable hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, it was quiet and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was very good, you can order cooked food if you wish but there’s everything you’d expect. The restaurant was great in the evening, with the option of sitting out in the elegant courtyard. We found the location good as well, it was a 10 minute walk to castle and the old town.
Disliked: The ramp to the underground parking was quite steep, which in our low car meant we grounded quite hard on the way out, and it was slightly hair raising. The pictures were mostly old English scenes of hunting with dogs, which felt a bit out of synch with current thinking.
Perfect for a few days stay and I will return
Liked: Beautiful, charming, traditional Spanish hotel. Very stylish. Small rooftop pool had lovely views across the town and the bay. Good location. Only a 5 minute walk to the train and bus station. 10 minute walk to town centre.
Disliked: Nothing really, although pool wasn't the deepest. So, not really a swimming pool but nice for a dip
Truly awful - worst experience I have ever had in Spain. Left and got a 55m2 suite in Jerez for €120/night. Like a p

Disliked: Hard to find in a car. Hostile receptionist, tiny room with almost zero natural light, lumpy bed, dank bathroom, toilet that fell over sideways not bolted to floor or wall. Mosquitoes. Horrible experience for €175 for the night. DON’T GO THERE!!!
