Perfect hiking locations lovely breakfast and a stunning view from the 14 bed dorm

Liked: Great location, very good breakfast for hikers. I think I was just unlucky with the other guest that weren’t very considerate to those sleeping in the 14 bed dorm

Disliked: Surprisingly quite a lot o street noise a lot of cars going past at all hours. The draw locks were unaligned and made a lot of noise when opening this was an issue with people leaving after 1am or arriving late in the 14 bed dorm

    Good hostel, helpful staff

Liked: The staff were very helpful and accommodating, I was able to check in earlier than planned and store my stuff - which was extremely helpful. The kitchen and social space downstairs was comfortable and welcoming. There were under the bed lockers, which had its own key already. So you didn't need to bring a lock. It's in a good location near the centre of the town and the tram. The bus isn't too far away too.

Disliked: Some of the beds were quite close together which can be a bit uncomfortable sleeping so close to a stranger. But also just not enough personal space when moving around the bed if that makes sense. The bathroom didn't seem to be cleaned super regularly so were a bit dirty and messy at times. But that's mostly due to other guests not cleaning up after themselves well enough. The under bed locker draws were noisy, particularly just putting the key in to unlock it. All in all, it was a great hostel!

Liked: Decor and attention to detail. Renovation of a house of character into such a beautiful hostel.

Disliked: Lack of bathroom on each accommodation floor. Unavailability of free drinking water when this would help reduce our use of plastic bottles. I didn’t mind climbing the high steps because this is part of the charm of this house.
