Fabulous
Would definitely stay again 😊
Liked: Brilliant. Clean room, great shower, bed comfy, great view from room and air con worked well. Hotel restaurant good quality.
Disliked: Just one hiccup with air con not working but sorted quickly by lovely girl on reception.
Mixed
Liked: The room was cool and comfortable. Lovely sized bed. All very clean and well presented.
Disliked: The service at the restaurant/bar was mixed. Two of the staff were attentive and hard working, but one deliberately ignored us after we had eaten our main course. After 30 minutes waiting to order a dessert we had had enough and left. Breakfast was not presented well. There was no menu just the waitress pointing vaguely. We didn't bother.
Overall we had good experience
Liked: It was right on the beach! We chose sea view which was really nice overlooking the beach and the cliffs.
Disliked: It felt a little worn down.

Liked: The location is excellent as it is directly on the beach. Fantastic food in the restaurant and beautiful terrace to enjoy breakfast/glass of wine in the evening.

Liked: wonderful location, right on a beautiful beach. Comfortable and good value simple hotel. Helpful front desk.
Disliked: No facilities to make tea or coffee in the room. I would have liked access to a fridge.
Good to know
The first weekend of August is the Calahonda festivities. They are held on the promenade near the hotel so there will be a lot of people and a lot of noise at night on those days.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in.
