Warning: Please read this before choosing this place
Liked: The only thing I can say I liked is probably the location of the accommodation.
Disliked: There are many things here that seriously need to be improved. The conditions are worse than those of a hostel. This is basically a regular house that has been converted to accommodate guests, with six or seven people having to share a single bathroom. Travelers who are here to enjoy their trip will find themselves in the bizarre situation of competing for the bathroom for up to two hours every morning. The rooms are barely enough to lie down and rest, and if you are staying with a partner, your suitcases will end up blocking the little space you have to move around. At the very least, more toilets and bathroom facilities are absolutely necessary. People should not be expected to stay under these conditions. This is accommodation for human beings, not an animal pen.
Wouldn't recommend, even if it's "cheap" for Barcelona

Disliked: I thought I am booking a room with a separate bathroom inside the room. I've ended up sharing the bathroom with other people.. The room was smaller than the room of Harry Potter. Inside the flat it had 31 degrees, even if it wasn't hot outside. After taking a shower you directly start to sweat again, there is no mirror inside your room so if you want to put make up in your face, you need to go to the sauna again.
Liked: On arrival I could not get into the apartment. I was disappointed with the tiny size of the room. To get out of the bed you had to crawl to the end of the bed. Not good value for money.
Disliked: Bedroom too small even for a single room.
Very bad check in system
Liked: This is a relatively good location, close to the conference centre (20 mins walk) and some local small food places. The bed was comfy.
Disliked: The check in process was terrible - they use an electronic system for unlocking the main apartment door at street level, and this was malfunctioning so I couldn't get in, and there was no other alternative. I arrived at 11pm at night and was travelling alone and 6 months pregnant. I had to wait for about 20 minutes for someone to exit the building so they could hold the door open for me and I could get in. This is unacceptable in my opinion - there should be a back up option to get in if the electronic system isn't working. Also, it was not obvious to me that it's a shared bathroom. This is probably my fault for not reading the description close enough, but I felt like the listing and photographs were misleading. A washing machine was advertised, but no instructions were provided on how to use it and no soap detergent etc provided.
Liked: Clean, comfortable and easy to access with clear check in instructions. Lots of facilities available. Good communication from the host
