  Beautiful pool area and some lovely staff, but the reservation mix-up and the buffet service and hygiene need serious im

  Liked: Check-in went smoothly. We arrived at 10 am and, although the room was ready at 3 pm as scheduled, we were welcome to use the facilities right away, which was much appreciated. The staff in the à la carte restaurants were polite and attentive, and the housekeeping team was consistently friendly and helpful. The pool area was clean and well maintained, and the drinks at the pool bar were excellent.

  Disliked: We made three à la carte reservations verbally at the information desk. Unfortunately, the dates were entered incorrectly, and two restaurants were booked for the same time on the same day. One evening we arrived at our restaurant and were told there was no reservation. We were offered a possible table two hours later, with no guarantee. When we gave feedback at the information desk, the staff member was distracted by colleagues and didn't really listen. She told us we should be glad we got into both restaurants, as other guests didn't have that option. With a 7-day stay and three included restaurant visits, this response felt dismissive, especially since the mistake was clearly on their side. The buffet restaurant was our biggest disappointment. Service was often unfriendly, and several staff members spoke very little English, which made even simple requests difficult. One evening our table was at the edge of the terrace and quite dark, so I asked a staff member to switch on the lamp nearby. It took about five minutes to get across what I meant, and the answer was "it's not possible," so we had to eat by phone flashlight that night. The salt shakers were stuck shut and gave out no salt. When we reported it, the staff simply moved ours to another table and gave us a different one, instead of replacing or fixing it. Plates and glasses were sometimes dirty, and there were often no coffee spoons outside or at the buffet, so we had to ask staff every time. The food variety was also limited. It felt like there were burgers every lunch and dinner, and the fajitas on Friday evening were a welcome change.
