  Beautiful Classic Hotel with Fantastic Staff

  Liked: This is a beautiful old hotel. Very classic. It sits on a hill overlooking Langreo. Every employee was warm and welcoming. We felt that we were in good hands.

  Disliked: As an older hotel, our room was small, yet comfortable. We were there during a heat wave and had to run the A/C constantly. The thermostat was limited and so the room was never quite cool enough.

  Last night on motorcycle tour. Comfortable stay, great evening meal, attentive staff

  Liked: Hotel is a stunning old building in a good location. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Bar prices are very reasonable and evening meal was excellent. Along with the couple we travelled with it appeared there was only one other person staying so very quiet. Evening meal was cooked fresh for just me and my partner. 3 courses with bottle of wine for 60 Euros Air con adequate assisted by a ceiling fan. Didn't use spa so can't comment.

  Disliked: Hotel has probably seen better days which is a shame as its a beautiful grand building.

  Liked: Nice hotel with pleasant, friendly staff. Good location, a 10-15 minute walk into La Felguera. There's a train station there if you don't want to use the car, it's about a 35 minute journey to Oviedo.

  Lovely building with friendly staff. Disappointing if you want an evening meal

  Liked: Lovely building, with impressive architecture. Our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was continental, but very good, beautifully presented on a tray. The staff that were there were very friendly and very helpful. Catered for non-gluten at breakfast. lots of parking (we arrived by motorbike). Close to the main motorway network but not so convenient to explore the routes in the hills.

  Disliked: Understaffed - at one point one young lady seemed to be doing everything in two buildings - check-ins, looking after the bar, waitressing etc. Evening menu was very limited and disappointing selection given that we thought the hotel had a restaurant. Location not easy to find alternatives for an evening meal within walking distance of the hotel.

  We left a day early and gladly paid for the full time

  Liked: The breakfast presentation was poor. Compared to our second hotel which was also deemed four star, the difference was like night and day. The location of the hotel is depressing and menu for the evening meal dreadful. Perhaps an overnight stay is bearable but any longer in this hotel is not adviseable.

  Disliked: The dinner menu could have been much better. The availability of staff who were just not there when needed The location of the hotel may suit business travelers and it may host weddings, but for tourists wishing to stay a few days it is not a good experience.
