Classic Spa Hotel in Center of Lanjarón
Liked: This historic spa hotel is a “must visit” if you’re in Lanjarón. It’s all about the spa. The rooms are spartan but comfortable, and contemporary. It’s a great base to explore the town (which Lorca and his family visited frequently- they stayed at the Hotel España).
Disliked: The outside pool is quite a schlepp up the hill, but in a charming spot.
No vayas que no vale la pena
Liked: enjoyed was the water that’s about it and the sweet doctor that works for them Dr Ivette Alverez. I wish her all the luck there because she deserves a better place to work at. I will be including my pictures so there’s proof. Oh, and so many times I went to the pool area and there was so many people there was no lounge chairs available. You have to wait till their Siesta time then you have all the pool to yourself. What a joke. And when you complain about the flies in the restaurant, they say well we are located in the jungle. Actually, all the glasses had no real good cleaning. I would have to run it through water and clean it with a napkin because there was so much filth inside the glasses the drinking glasses. Wine and all other drinking glasses. Their machines do not clean properly. Many people got bites from spiders and other bugs in their rooms. Same thing was said we are in the jungle. I guess there used to it. The food menu was the same thing every week for breakfast. It was the exact thing which were eggs that were like from powder and hams and cheeses, and lots of bread for the Spaniards. Not my kind of breakfast lunch and dinner always had a salad, which is what I ended up eating most of but the rest of the food I could pass. Let me put it to you this way I ate out four times and I was there for nine days. I hope you guys can Google Translate so you can see exactly what I’m saying.
Genial el balneario; el hotel necesita modernizarse
Liked: El balneario está genial, y muy bien por su parte que tengan una tarifa de hospedaje que incluya un acceso al spa por día. La zona de piscina muy bien también, todo muy limpio y tranquilo.
Disliked: Debería haber una persona controlando la zona de piscina, porque mucha gente deja sus toallas durante medio día sin estar presentes. Además, hay muchos grupos de señoras mayores y pueden ser bastante escandalosas cuando se juntan. Es un espacio para el relax, y deberían fomentar más eso si quieren que el hotel atraiga a nuevas generaciones. El aire acondicionado hacía un poco de ruido, pero soportable; y la limpieza de la habitación es básica pero no 10/10 (había una pequeña mancha en mi almohada). En este sentido, el hotel necesita algunas renovaciones de mobiliario... El desayuno está muy bien, pero deberían valorar la inclusión de más productos, considerando de nuevo la naturaleza "healthy" del alojamiento. No sé, más variedad de fruta, o frutos secos para el yogur, o zumos naturales... Por otro lado, y lo peor: el wifi. No tuve forma de conectarlo en tres días que he estado allí.
