  Liked: The property is down some very steep narrow lanes.

  Disliked: Pool was nice. Facilities were a bit poor. Would not take a family there. Ok for 4 blokes on a motor bike trip

  Liked: Nice place in a rustic village setting. The swimming pool and the restaurant are top. Ideal for a relaxing stay.

  Disliked: The beds were too soft and the car access can be difficult if you don't know the correct way (Google doesn't!)

  Liked: The apartment is situated in a village with beautiful views of the mountains. It is a lovely place, with a balcony overlooking the treetops below. There is also a patio with a table and chairs, although I preferred using the balcony table for relaxing and meals. We also made friends with what appeared to be a stray cat. There are some uphill streets to climb when getting to the car, but the village is not very large. There is also a lake nearby and several trekking routes within a few kilometres.

  Disliked: The shower only seemed to work properly for a minute or two before the water turned cold. There was also a significant issue with noise. During the last two days of our stay, some tourists occupied the flat above. The problem was not the occupants themselves, but the noise from the plumbing. We could hear loud water pipe noises, and when the toilet was flushed, it was so loud it felt as though it was right next to us. This woke us up several times during the night. The apartment would benefit from much better sound insulation, or at least from addressing the plumbing noise, as it is excessively loud. Although not related to the apartment, it may be useful for drivers to know that navigating through Granada (as well as Almería) can be quite tricky. Both Sat Nav and Google Maps directed us incorrectly at times when travelling between different parts of the city. It seems the maps are not always updated promptly, which can cause confusion and stress. At one point, I ended up driving in a bus-and-taxi-only lane. Fortunately, I did not receive a fine, but it was frustrating when navigation tools were unreliable.

  I would rank the Dispensa Del Valle hotel a 10+, great family atmosphere, delicious resteraunt and super clean and comfo

  Liked: Everything! Great friendly and helpful family, delicious restaurant and super clean and comfortable room. The family went way above being just great hosts. When I found out a family member was extremely ill stateside, they picked me up very early the next morning and drove me to another town and dropped me off at the bus stop for Granada. I will always be incredibly grateful to them and will recommend their hotel and restaurant to everyone I know.

  Disliked: Nothing. Everything was great.
