  Liked: Room and mattresses were do comfortable

  Disliked: Food very bad even for breakfast there were no porridge for children and baby. Small assortment of food. Chef who was drawing X wasn’t polite and nice he was so rude and angry when you asked him to do something different. Finer not much choice and everything is cheap and poorly.

  Perfect stay, excellent value for money. Brilliant hotel

  Liked: Spotlessly clean, lovely staff, beautiful view, recently been renovated and it is really lovely. I could have stayed longer. A two minute walk from the train station and a large supermarket up the road.

  Disliked: The bedroom doors have quite a slam to them and I had very late neighbours.

  Liked: We were lucky enough to stay at this wonderful hotel. Everything is new and refurbished; every detail of the room and lobby design is simply lovely. Considering we’d booked the cheapest room option, it was huge, with a balcony and a stunning view. All the staff were very friendly, always smiling and keen to help. I was surprised that the breakfast manager – or waiter – would ask for our room number, read out our name, and wish us a good day in our own language! That’s very creative. Well done! I don’t know who wrote reviews about the food being bad – the food was brilliant and varied, and they added something new every day. It’s just a few dozen metres to the sea – just the thing to work off all that delicious food! I went to the gym a few times; it’s not huge, but it has everything you need. There’s also a spa, but we wanted to spend more time by the sea. The hotel is brilliant; the only thing I’d like to say is that the management could add a bit more variety to the desserts – or rather, add something else. And another thing: we arrived at night, and the man at reception was very polite and offered us some champagne. When we left, it was 4 am. We’d wanted to ask for some food the night before and confirm the transfer; as it turned out, if you have flights like ours, you need to arrange meals by 7 pm and the transfer two days before departure. These are minor details, but I’d like the reception staff to simply mention this information, as we weren’t aware of it and ended up without any food, and had to call a taxi ourselves. In every other respect, a definite 10 for the value for money!

  Lovely, peaceful hotel. Perfect for a getaway

  Liked: We went in September, so it was a bit quieter as it was no longer school holidays. There were a few kids, but not many and it was easy to get a sun bed around the pool, no matter what time of day you wanted. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave us recommendations when we asked where was good to eat, drink and visit in the local area. The pool was lovely.

  Disliked: Although the cleaners came in everyday, I did find a few hairs that could have been cleaned up quite easily.
