  Liked: Very attentive and helpful people. The hotel was in a good location for the purpose of my visit. Free parking around. The room was good with a spacious bathroom. The room had a fridge and air con as well. Restaurant was very good.

  Confusing catering arrangements

  Liked: Very comfortable hotel on the edge of town. The room was fine, spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff, when approached, were very helpful and efficient. The bar area is spacious with an outside terrace, good for sitting out on warm evenings even though it overlooks the road. Location is good, easily accessible from the main road, enough parking space, and close enough to the centre to be walkable, yet still quiet.

  Disliked: The catering arrangements confused us. Arriving mid-afternoon after a long drive we just needed "food as fuel" but when we asked if we could eat we were whisked into the dining room where a "fine dining" service was in operation - not what we wanted or needed. We asked if there was a "menu del dia" and the reply was a simple "no". There was no suggestion that snacks were available in the bar, yet in the evening when we returned from our exploration of the town people were tucking into various tempting dishes. Some information/explanation would be helpful for guests in deciding what and when they want to eat. It won't stop us coming back, but we'll know what questions to ask next time!

  Well located three star hotel with very good evening time (9pm onwards) restaurant, comfortable if

  Liked: Close to motorway but far enough away to avoid any noise

  Disliked: No Tea or coffee in room, hotel bar served snacks but restaurant opened late at 9pm but should have been available earlier
