This hotel reminded me of the time that Madonna sang about being a virgin …
Liked: A good mattress. The nice non nonsense breakfast.
Disliked: Hotel Xaneiro is what it is: a small town hotel as you would have found it in the 80’s. But it is clean, the beds are ok. You will not easily find much better in Melide. The staff are nice, helpful and they speak English.
Don’t come if you want a pepper sleep
Liked: Location is wonderful.
Disliked: No hairdryer in the room. The staff was busy in the morning to take care of customers and I waited more than 5 minutes to get the hairdryer. Walls are thin, I heard noises of the loud neighbours, streets and squeaky bed, elevator. Elevator is too tiny, which fits only one person and the luggage. Overall very ole facilities and need a massive renovation.
Liked: Very spacious, well lit, and even with a tub! A very nice surprise.
Disliked: We weren't sure how the restaurant was integrated with the hotel, if at all.
Liked: Private bathroom, central location.
Disliked: Paper thin walls, we couldn’t sleep. Crazy loud neighbours of the hotel shouting.
Liked: Good location. Staff were very friendly. Inexpensive
Disliked: Older hotel.
