A traditional Hotel to stay in Melilla
Liked: A traditional hotel with old fashion values. The facilities inside are very good and the staff are very professional.
Disliked: Whilst the hotel is only a short walk from the main attractions, it's location is up a hill that can be a challenging walk in the daytime heat. Once there though there are great views.
Good option in Melilla
Liked: Big comfortable rooms
Disliked: A bit dated. Needs some refurbishment
Liked: We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is lovely, but what really made our trip was the incredibly friendly staff. They went above and beyond by offering us a room with a breathtaking sea view that we absolutely loved waking up to. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm welcome and stunning scenery
Disliked: Broken sockets
Liked: The views from the balcony were stunning with a superb vista to wake up to each morning. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The breakfasts were superb. The staff were all absolutely fantastic. So friendly and helpful, they obviously enjoy their jobs, A very happy place indeed.
Disliked: Starting to look a bit dated in places but a refurbishment is scheduled for 2026-2027.
Urgent need of revamp
Liked: This was supposed to be good as parador is very famous upscale local chain of hotels. Instead, it’s a hotel that urgently needs refurbishment both in terms of quality of rooms/public spaces and in terms of staff. Wherever you look, things are either old or broken. Customer centricity has left the building as well. Wanted to have coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening and staff was nowhere to be found. After 10 minutes of waiting we got a person for coffee but for drinks they never showed up. Yes views are great but everything is simply not. Do not recommend.
