  I felt completely at home here

  Liked: Beautiful old building, probably XVlll - XlX century, well maintained & tastefully restored where necessary. Located in the original town square. Plentiful original features. I would describe this place as a 'character hotel'. Antique furniture abounds in the lounges. Lovely original curved marble staircase with iron railings & wooden bannister. Eclectic decorations. There is a beautiful & very classy restaurant and wine store in the basement - unfortunately closed when I stayed, but Diego who was supervising the hotel kindly gave me a tour. There are a couple of decent restaurants within 50 yards. Excellent Spanish style breakfast (pan con tomate y jamón, jugo de naranja, pastel y cafe) served in a small courtyard at the rear. Special thanks to Diego, a very friendly & helpful guy.

  Disliked: Parking can be a bit tricky, but that is normal in Spain. I was lucky however, & found street parking 50 yards away.

  Liked: Great breakfast, served by the table. Very Spanish.

  Disliked: Not wheelchair friendly, a lot of steps to get to the top room, which we were upgraded to.

  Liked: A lovely boutique hotel, with individual rooms, nice areas such as the lounges and outside patio. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast. And conveniently located.

  Beautiful bespoke hotel

  Liked: This is a beautiful bespoke hotel. The host was fantastic and very accommodating. He provided a packed breakfast of bananas and croissants as we were leaving before breakfast time. Our room was well appointed, very clean and the bed was super comfy.
