Fabulous
Liked: Very nice hotel and friendly staff. If you're a birdwatcher, a nature lover or a wildlife photographer, you'll like the place even more! The garden is full of birds and there's a hide beneath the hotel which allows you to see a good selection of birds at extremely close range.
Disliked: I would gladly stay there again!
Charming and whimsical!
Liked: The closeness of nature is amazing - both the birdwatching opportunities around the hotel, as well as how close the hiking trails and mountains are. The beds were comfy, everything was clean, so many cute details all around. The owner was very kind! Great coffee at breakfast!
Disliked: I both liked and disliked the floors - they are old and charming, but loud, especially the ones in the common corridor. The breakfast was ok for the price, but I would like some source of protein as well as something fresh, like fruits or vegetables - would be happy to pay more for that.

Beautiful location, comfortable and welcoming
Liked: Excellent location if you like hiking - the mountains and countryside were on the doorstep. Run by an enthusiastic and very genial ornithologist. Slight miscommunication on check in that cost us an extra €20 which was unforeseen and a little annoying but we were happy to pay it. Service from staff was exceptional and the food served in the bar was delicious. TV didn’t work in the bedroom and a fan would have been welcome as it was hot when we stayed.
