  Liked: We have stayed there many times before it’s dog friendly with plenty of exercise area, also just 5 minutes drive from the motorway.

  San Camillo Hotel. A lovely place

  Liked: The clean comfortable room. Really lovely hot shower.. Lovely grounds, pleasant staff. Nice breakfast with a lovely person to help.. It was quiet and peaceful which I appreciated. Also the hotel accepted dogs which I could walk in the grounds. There was good parking facilities as well.

  Disliked: The only thing was we arrived and could have done with some food.

  Liked: Just lovely. Really nice and quietly positioned. Clean comfortable and we have now stayed twice.

  Good stopping place north to the ferry

  Liked: It's a convenient place to say on the route north to catch a ferry. A bit oit of the town, the car park feels safe.

  Disliked: Having stayed here before and eaten in the hotel restaurant, it was an unpleasant surprise to arrive after 7 hours travelling to be told the restaurant was closed that night (due to a bank holiday). I feel we should have been notified in advance of this, the last thing we wanted was to have to walk into town to try and find dinner. Also it was unseasonably warm that day, 28, and the room was very hot. The air con was switched to heat so we couldn't cool the room.
