  Terrible experience and very poor customer service!

  Liked: No complaints about the actual apartment apart from non-existent/very poor soundproofing.

  Disliked: I never post really bad reviews so this is a one-off bad one from me! We arrived at Apartmentos Jimmy on 9th October and there was no-one to greet us in reception even though we had WhatsApped ahead, so on arrival we had to make a telephone call to say we were in the reception area. The man that came to check us in was not at all friendly, in fact he came across as quite rude and abrupt and not at all welcoming! A few days previous to our holiday, we had sent emails/booking.com message requesting a quiet room. The man replied abruptly to say this could not be guaranteed and would depend on availability. The main complaint we have about this property is the fact that owing to the continuous noise from the street we did not get any sleep at all! This noise went on all through the night until about 7.00 am the following morning! As we are an older couple, we knew we would not be able to spend the remaining nights of our holiday in this room (room 202) owing to the excessive noise. We spoke to the man the next day, explaining the fact that we could not sleep at all owing to the loud street noise and lack of sufficient sound-proofing and requested either a quieter room or a refund. We were informed by him that there were no other rooms available and he refused us a refund for the nights of 10-12th October. He was not understanding of our predicament at all and said the noise was because of the Nerja festival which he did NOT mention via previous Booking.com messages at any time and on arrival and when taking full payment from us in cash on the first day! We then had no alternative but to try and source another much quieter accommodation at great further expense to ourselves! I would not be surprised if this review is not posted or taken down and the most recent review from another "person" is not genuine! We cannot imagine anyone being able to sleep in these apartments facing the street especially during the Feria period.

  Apartment needs general upgrading and maintenance. Otherwise it was a lovely apartment

  Liked: Breakfast was not included. Location was excellent.

  Disliked: Bath and shower did not have grab rails for the semi-disabled and genera safety. Floors felt unclean. Would suggest that guests wear slippers at all times. Basin taps were loose

  Perfect as usual

  Liked: Very convenient for the town centre and Balcon area yet at the quieter end of the street so distanced from the noise of the Feria which was taking place while I was there. Have stayed here several times before and hope to do so again. The apartment was clean, tidy and had everything I needed.

  Disliked: Nothing could have been better.

  Liked: The apartment was very well kept and had everything needed for a short stay. I arrived late after reception had closed and staff kindly stayed in touch and met me there when I arrived to let me in.

  Liked: Great location

  Disliked: Stayed for 8 nights, bedsheets were never changed once, all we were giving was clean towels every 3 days. No washing machine in the apartments. Rang to get new towels and staff member said it’s an apartment not a hotel.
