  A convenient good value and friendly stay

  Liked: Good value as includes breakfast, central location near bus stop and main road yet relatively quiet (late October). Tatiana and other staff welcoming and helpful.

  Disliked: The twin room we had (twice) is not spacious, but the bathroom with shower enclosure and a small “Juliet” balcony made up for it.

  Liked: The breakfast was very good, with everything you could need, including coffee, juice, bread, yogurt, ham, and sweet pastries. An excellent way to start the day. The hostess was very kind and welcoming. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and comfortable throughout.

  Disliked: There is no on-site parking, but it was easy to find a parking space nearby.

  Lovely location

  Liked: I really found Hostal Azahara excellent value for money. The location is really great,15 min to Calahonda beach which is one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen in Europe. Breakfast was nice, simple and plentiful. Our room was a bit small but beds were comfy. However, they really need to invest in buying good quality pillows. The lady working there is kind and welcoming. I do recommand this place for travellers on a budget and people who like to keep it simple.

Good to know

Please note, the property does not have an elevator and is not accessible to guests with reduced mobility. It is located on the first floor of the building.

Cots are available upon request and subject to availability (a surcharge may apply).

Pets are allowed (EUR 5–15 per night depending on weight; maximum of 2 per room). Out of respect for other guests, pets must not be left unattended in the room. Guide dogs are exempt from the surcharge upon presentation of documentation.
