  Great. But sadly the parador is closed for 2026

  Liked: Sad to report that the excellent Parador, which we enjoyed several times, is now closed for major reconstruction, and will not be open for 2026.

  Parador closed for refurbishment for 2 years from October 25

  Liked: A lovely hotel but now closed for refurbisment. Hope it doesn’t get spoiled! It has been a favourite of ours for many years.

  A restful stay in a stunning location

  Liked: We have stayed at the Parador de Nerja many times over the years and have always found it a very relaxing and peaceful holiday. The location is stunning with views over Burriana beach and the Mediterranean. The staff are always unfailingly polite, friendly and helpful and the food is top quality. It is a great shame we shall not be able to visit again until late 2027 due to the closure for refurbishment but I am sure we shall return once the Parador reopens. With the proposed improvements, it promises to be an even better experience and we look forward to returning to this wonderful location.
