  Have always wanted to stay at a Parador and was not disappointed. Beautiful

  Liked: The location was perfect. The breakfast was great and the staff during breakfast were friendly and happy which was much appreciated. Reception staff were also excellent. Our room was comfortable.

  Disliked: The maître de at the supper restaurant. He totally ignored us on our first night while continuing to converse with the Spanish and French guests for a time, before seating us. The second night he rushed us to a table far away from other guests. He almost seemed angry at us. As Canadians, we were confused by his attitude towards us as everyone else was extremely friendly…especially the breakfast staff.

  A top flight Parador. Go!

  Liked: An exceptional building in a truly wonderful setting. The building is a tranquil, spacious maze of history on a steep valley side in a natural forest. There are windows of view over the Sil valley. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and relaxing. Lovely walks from the Parador, through the woods with hardly a soul around.

  Liked: Such a privilege staying in such a beautiful place. The history, the setting, the atmosphere and the decor just wonderful. The room was comfortable Breakfast really good A really memorable stay

  Disliked: We couldn't bring our small camper van down to the car park due to restrictions for vans. So it took the shine off having to park up a road and carry all our luggage down to the parador. The evening meal was beautifully presented and served in a lovely area but the food didn't live up to expectations.
