Exceptional
A lovely stay in a comfortable, well-designed apartment
Liked: A bright, spacious, and well-designed apartment in a small, well-maintained block. Clean and comfortable with very good facilities. The private, enclosed garden was very pleasant and also useful as we were travelling with our dog. It was well equipped with various seating options, a sun umbrella and a brick-built BBQ. Although not especially picturesque, Ovinana was a likeable village with a few bars and a couple of shops and the people were friendly. It was also possible to walk (or drive) into Soto de Luina where there was a bigger supermarket and some restaurants. The apartment was quite close to beaches but access was not straight forward as this region of coast is mostly cliffs. However, Playa de Vallina was worth a visit (about 30 minute walk), not only for the beach but for the fresh water stream and interesting molinos. The walk out to the lighthouse is also recommended. Communication with the property owners was good and we were met for handover of the keys and to be shown round. On departure, keys were dropped in a keybox. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay which we considered very good value for money.
Disliked: Only one or two apartments were occupied during our stay so it was generally quiet. However, this might be different if all properties were occupied...?

No customer support at all
Disliked: During our whole stay the Internet did not work. Internet was one of the key factors to book an accomodation. Although the owner knew that it did not work. Badly that we havenot been informed at the begin of our stay. Even worse the problem was not solved during our stay. Neither the owner gave us the feeling that he cares nor did he approach us with any offer to make us feel better, e.g. price reduction. This gave us a bad feeling. As soon as we have payed he did not care at all. Therefor I could recommed the location but not the service.
