  Super clean and spacious apartment

  Liked: Super clean, spacious and comfortable apartment. Building and gardens extremely well kept. Great location to explore the coastline. Very helpful owners who provide clear instructions and local advice. Would recommend

  If you want to risk your health and peace of mind choose this. If you want peace of mind avoid

  Liked: Calm village near to a lighthouse and other places of interest. Good size apartment. Well equipped.

  Disliked: I have slept in hundreds of places over different continents, I've been in the army and never in my life woke up with bed bug bites. All this, until staying in La Lozana. Additionally stained towel and blankets The owner despite being responsive failed to display the slightest empathy, one of the most awkward interactions via message. He didn't apologise for the stained towel which is already poor practice and a red flag in terms of customer service but when told him that i got bedbug bites after staying at his place for two nights he again didn't even sympathise. The reply was brief, cold stating that "after a thorough check nothing was found in the apartment and this was the first time that something like that happened etc". What a coincidence given that is my first time waking up with all these bites on my body after sleeping in their apartment. I have slept in the Amazon jungle and gave me less trouble Typical behaviour of avoiding accountability or responsibility reflecting a business model that doesn't align with values respecting hygiene and transparency..The fotos are just a sample of the bites I got in my arms and feet. As a result of this, I had to change my bag and spend my holidays in finding a professional laundry to wash and dry in high temperatures to avoid transferring bedbugs to other places and back home.That has caused a stress and a big cost in terms of time as well as financially. I'm not putting 0 stars just to maintain some balance but overall a very disappointing stay with poor practices and even poorer customer service

  Liked: The property has lot's of character, yet is fully up to date, and was very clean. The interior with its high open ceilings and wooden beams is beautiful, and on the first floor you have a full view of the village. The property is located within walking distance of all facilities in the village. Having on-site parking was a requirement, and we were provided with a remote control for the gate. Since we stayed a few days, the host enquired how were doing, and let us know that we could ask if we needed anything.

  Disliked: We travelled off-season, but I can imagine this place being in very high demand in summer!

  A bit of paradise in Asturias

  Liked: Location was great. Staff was terrific and friendly. Very clean with a welcome basket of local cider.

  Disliked: Both apartments lacked face towels. very minor issue though.
