  A wonderfully warm welcome in a quiet village

  Liked: Meritxell and Ben are lovely hosts who went out of their way to make our short stay enjoyable. The hotel is bright, smart and comfortable. Their traditional Spanish (or maybe it's Basque?) breakfast and dinner were great.

  Liked: Good location to reach Irati área, the room was comfortable and the bathroom too.

  Disliked: There was no air conditioning (understandable because of the location but summers are getting hot in Navarra too). We slept good with the window open. Not strictly related to the hotel but the road to reach the hotel inside the town is in quite bad condition, careful if you drive a low car. The town itself does not have bars or restaurants more than the posada

  A wonderful stay in the mountainous countryside of Navarra, a quiet and peaceful place

  Liked: Excellent breakfast and evening meals. Posada Sarigarri is a small location, fairly remote in a tiny village among beautiful countryside - all of which suited me as a motorcycle tourist. It is well run by its hardworking hostess, who provides excellent food and advice on the area - it caters for thos who love the forest and the mountains, not perhaps for city lovers!

  Disliked: There was really nothing I disliked - it was a most enjoyable stay, with excellent plain home-cooked food, comfortable accommodation. I was unlucky with the weather, which was unseasonably cool and very wet in the mountains - hardly something to blame Sarigarri and its wonderful hostess!
