Disliked: When we checked in, we were provided a larger room than booked which was much appreciated. Biggest bed I've ever slept in! But then was told not use the spa bathtub in the room. So A bit strange

Calm rural guesthouse with comfy bed and good breakfast
Liked: We slept one night with late arrival and early departure. A good price for value in this rural guesthouse. Beautiful surroundings, plenty parking space, good shower, big (2×2m) comfy bed. Owner is friendly. We had no problems with a late arrival (clear instructions where to find a key), and owner kindly provided us earlier breakfast at 8 (breakfast time 8:30 - 10:00). Breakfast has good coffee, omlette or fried eggs, toasts, butter, jam, cake, yoghurt and fruits. We were satisfied on our stay. We would choose this place to sleep on our journey again.
Amazing hotel with a beautiful view!
Liked: The staff was absolutely amazing. Kind and interested. When they heard we didn't come by car because we thought taxi's were easily obtainable (they were not) they offered to drive us down to the center and take us back with them! Rooms were very clean. The jacuzzi was so comfortable and nice. Breakfast was amazing.
Disliked: The rooms get really warm, this is due to the wooden contraption that is built around the windows. You can solve this problem by opening the wooden planks.. However closing the wooden planks back is exceptionally hard.
Liked: The location is great: it is 2 minutes away from the centre of Oñati and 15 minutes away from the main hikes of the Aizkorri-Aratz natural park by car. Breakfast is excellent (best tortilla!). The whole place reminds of a cozy farmhouse, without any plastic, and surrounded by nature and green. The hosts are extremely friendly and caring. Definitely recommend if you are looking for something cozy, rustic, and nature-friendly.
