  Absolutely amazing view, but very poor management and lack of some facilities

  Liked: Amazing terrace with sea view from the 10th floor – probably one of the best in Oropesa. You can enjoy the sea from almost every room. There is also a parking spot in the garage, which is very convenient. The price was excellent for such an apartment. The beach is decent: a mix of sand, grass, and some stones, plus a nice path for evening walks.

  Disliked: The apartment is managed by a real estate agency, which means you have to drive 4 km to pick up the keys. In early September it was windy and a bit cold at some nights, but the agency refused to provide warm blankets – only thin sheets. It was also uncomfortable because the windows in the apartment do not close tightly, so it got chilly inside. The shower cabin has no shelf for soap or shampoo. We ordered a baby cot for €40, but the agency did not provide an extra sheet or blanket for the baby. You also need to pay an extra charge for towels. Some of the provided keys for the courtyard doors did not work, so we had to look for open gates to enter. The furniture is very basic and cheap, with the living room sofa already sagging. On the terrace there are only very primitive plastic chairs – a real crime for such a beautiful view. The Wi-Fi router is old and had to be restarted every 15 minutes. If you need internet for streaming videos or downloading data, you definitely cannot rely on the Wi-Fi in this apartment. There was no kettle in the apartment, and the agency refused to provide one. We cleaned the apartment before leaving but forgot to wash the oven tray. The agency tried to charge us a €50 penalty just for that, referring to some documents that we never received or signed, because we took the keys from the key box at night.

  Nice place

  Liked: We had loads of space — there were three families of five staying in three apartments, and it was the perfect setup for us. The pool was lovely and usually nice and quiet, with plenty of loungers for sunbathing. The beach is just a short walk away too, which was ideal. The apartments have big balconies, so it was great to sit out and relax in the evenings. There are two large supermarkets close by, along with some bars and restaurants, which was super handy. That said, I’d definitely recommend hiring a car — most things you’d want to do with kids are a bit of a drive, and public transport isn’t great. Overall, it’s a brilliant spot for families who just want to enjoy the pool, hit the beach, and chill out.

  Disliked: There aren’t any extras like spare linen, oven gloves, tea towels, washing-up liquid, salt, etc., so just something to keep in mind and maybe pack a few basics. We also didn’t fully realise that the key had to be collected from a lockbox at the office — it was mentioned after we paid, but since we were arriving late with a big group, it caused a bit of confusion (not really their fault though). It all worked out fine in the end, but just a heads-up that you’ll need a car to get from the office to the apartments — it’s about a 50-minute walk otherwise. None of these things were deal breakers, just little things to be aware of ahead of time.

  Liked: Hi, the location of the apartment is fantastic. You've got superb view from terrace. 6th floor apartment makes difference:). The apartment is well equipped and there are 2 bathrooms which is pretty good especially when you spend time with family:). Everything worked ok, no issues. The terrace is facing out to south east so quite comfortable sunlight with very close to shore that you can breath fresh sea air. There is restaurant and small market next door...5 min walk you can find supermarket as aldi...The employees in the orpesa office were very helpful...especially very nice guy who agreed to stay few hours longer due to very late flight. They also allowed and arranged pick up keys very late around midnight. Thanks a lot. I fully recommend the apartment.

Please note that there is a EUR 50 charge for late check-in from 20:00 to 00:00. Check-in after 00:00 is not possible.
