Very good
Awesome accommodations
Liked: The location is amazing, tucked between a cathedral and monastery. It is modern rebuild of an old monastery, with amazing views and facilities (pool, breakfast/common area). There is a bar just opposite the entrance, and a nightclub hidden in the cellars. There is ample parking, but you actually parking your car may be challenging. If you need a restaurant, you need to walk about half a mile down a steep street, but it is well worth it.
Disliked: Well, the music from the nightclub could be heard, but at least we were not charged extra:). There is no host in the afternoon/evening, all doors and entry gate is code operated - and it works perfectly well.
Liked: Very nice surroundings, location
Disliked: Bed was not comfortable and breakfast was poor
Very beautiful but bear in mind it’s only a 2 star hotel
Liked: The building is very beautiful and has a lovely large courtyard with amazing views. On one side is the Collegiate and on the other the Monasterio, both beautiful buildings. The pool looks very inviting but I didn’t try it. Room 401, which I was in, has a very lovely, large balcony. The keypad entry system worked very well. The receptionist I spoke to on the phone was very helpful, as was the lovely lady who was cleaning the rooms. One thing that may not suit everyone is that it is at the top of short, but very steep hill.
Disliked: My fault for not doing enough research, there are no buses from the station into the town and there were no taxis there. Be prepared with numbers of taxi companies or prearrange pickup. I had planned to walk but it is quite a long way and it was 40 deg. The A/C wasn’t very cold, perhaps in Spain there are some controls during the day? I arrived around 4pm during a heatwave could have done with a bit of cool. It wasn’t too bad during the night though, when the outside temp got cooler anyway. Both taps ran hot, I couldn’t get any cold water. There is no restaurant and no means of getting hot or cold drinks, a cold drink vending machine would have been very helpful. The mattress protector has a plastic waterproof liner which is noisy and sweaty. No gluten free options for breakfast, the continental breakfast is basically a sandwhich
Liked: The building was amazing, the views are great as it's very high up, the town is beautiful and very historic
Disliked: Reception closes at 1.30 and you can't check in till 2. We were whatsapped the entry code and room NBR so not a problem. But no member of staff around the whole time we were there, the restaurant was closed.
Liked: It was quite
Disliked: No staff, no bar open,no restaurant open. Left to our own devices. The bedroom was very very dark
Good value, great location and stunning views
Liked: Beautifully restored and a lovely view. We had a good sized room with a nice terrace overlooking the pool.
Disliked: Only two sun beds around the pool and although there were large sun umbrellas, two were tied together and too close to a wall to use, so there was almost no shade.
