  Beautiful location, great apartment, very steep walk to get there (and back up!)

  Liked: Comfortable, well equipped, stunning balcony views

  Disliked: Nothing. Just be aware, it’s about a ten minute walk down a very steep hill to get there from where you can park, which isn’t that much fun carrying all your stuff, especially if you plan to self cater!

  Outstanding

  Liked: San Roque was extremely comfortable, and has been fitted out with lots of attention to detail - it far exceeded my expectations. The balcony with view overlooking the valley was great, and the location was very peaceful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again - I doubt you could do better in Capileira.

  Disliked: A warning for people with reduced mobility or a lot of luggage: getting from the property into the centre of Capileira involves a fairly steep climb (about 400ft). Great exercise, especially if you’re there for the hiking, but it wouldn’t be for everyone.

  Capileira is beautiful, and this property is probably the best in the town

  Liked: Absolutely wonderful and comfortable! I highly recommend staying for at least two days. The view from the balcony, the cozy terrace, and the peaceful mountain silence guarantee true relaxation. Just note that it’s about a 10-minute walk from the parking area, and the path isn’t the easiest — but it’s definitely worth it!

  Exceptional

  Liked: Cosy, picturesque, an absolute delight to stay in. Kitchen had everything we needed and we were comfortable throughout.

  Disliked: Only downside was we had a hard time hauling our bags up the hill on the way back!
